2. Bird and mammal surveys.
A total of 44 surveys on topics such as avifauna living
or nesting in conservation areas, lakes, bird lakes and
built-up areas, and demanding surveys of birds living in
mire areas.
1997: Effects of the regulation of Päijänne on
the nesting of gulls and divers in Southern and Central
Päijänne.
1998: A survey of literature on the ecology and nutrition
of the muskrat and on its relation to water plants.
2001: Survey of flying squirrels in a planned area in Vuokatti,

be carried out in Ähtärinjärvi.

5. NajasTM 1.0 program for water plant researchers, and
other computer applications.

fishing, sedimentation tests, loading surveys and aerial

costs arising from renovating parts of the water areas below

1996: Teaching of zoo and plant ecology to fitness instructors
specialising in outdoor physical recreation, Pajulahti Centre
